DON'T BE
S**T!
We worked with local run legend Bob from Kilsyth Runners, who needed a fresh new look to continue the growth and popularity of this much-loved community run club. Known for being inclusive, supportive, and a little bit cheeky, Kilsyth Runners is a social run club for all levels — from first-time joggers to seasoned marathoners. With their tongue-in-cheek motto “don’t be shit”, the club champions progress over perfection, focusing on fun, community, and a shared love of running.

Our goal was to create a logo that captures this spirit: energetic, approachable, and proudly unpolished, while still giving the club a professional and memorable identity that members can wear with pride.

The Kilsyth Runners logo is designed to capture the raw energy, attitude, and community spirit of the club. The bold “KR” monogram gives the club a strong, instantly recognisable identity that works across everything from race vests to social media. Its forward-leaning, angular form suggests motion and momentum — a visual nod to running and progress, no matter the pace.

The stripped-back design reflects the club’s no-nonsense approach: simple, impactful, and unpolished in the best way. It’s not about being flashy or corporate, it’s about turning up, putting one foot in front of the other, and embodying the club motto: “don’t be shit.”

The colour palette is deliberately loud and unapologetic. The vibrant red backdrop injects energy and excitement, while the crisp white logo ensures high contrast and legibility in all contexts. Together, they create a look that feels rebellious, modern, and impossible to ignore — just like the club itself.

This brand identity gives Kilsyth Runners a professional but playful edge: one that celebrates effort, welcomes all levels, and builds a sense of pride for anyone wearing the badge. If you're in Kilsyth you won't miss the Kilsyth Runners.
